On February 28 the US and Israel announced that they had started a military campaign known as 'Epic Fury' to protect US "core national security interests."
In the aftermath of the bombing, Iran reported that just one U.S.-Israeli strike hit a girls' elementary school, killing over 50 young girls and wounding over 60 more. The people of Iran should not bear the burden of US greed over oil, trade, and global domination. The reality is that any act of US aggression against Iran only puts more innocent Iranian civilians, especially women and children, in the cross hairs of US imperialism. When the US drops bombs it is women and children who pay the price.
As the world braces for an escalation in violence, IWA calls on our members to take to the streets to oppose all collusion with US interests from national governments; and to defend the right of the Iranian people to live a life free of US intervention. For too long the US has used hybrid tactics to make Iran the scapegoat of West Asia - it is time to expose the real rabid dogs and to stand with the people of Iran.
